Slim to none
Photoshop, XSI
January 2008

This isn´t the most uplifting subject. I read somewhere that if you fall over board and the water temp + air temp is below 37 celsius, your chance of survival is very slim (unless you are rescued fast). One can think that a water temp of 15 plus an air temp of 20 is quite much, but it isn´t!
For this image I was very inspirated by the work showcased here on CGtalk, done by PLANET FX! Really cool water and "bad weather" fx!!!
It feels a bit corny to post this image after Planet FX´s top notch work, but I needed to get it out of my system
Sadly this is showing a guy drowning, he reaches for the light tunnel... I didn´t want it to be a spot light directed on him, but something more diffuse. I hope you see that poor guy in those dark waves!?
WIthout being too sentimental, take a moment to think about all the pepole who has meet their destiny in a stormy sea somewhere...
Done with XSI and photoshop.
Feel free to C & C
